At the San Diego Transformation Center, we recognize that women’s experiences of trauma are often shaped by unique life circumstances, societal pressures, and relationships. Our Women’s Trauma Specialized Program offers a safe, supportive environment where women can process their experiences, reclaim their power, and build resilience—guided by a team that understands the complexities of trauma and healing.

Why Specialized Women’s Trauma Care Matters

Women are disproportionately affected by certain types of trauma, such as domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and reproductive trauma. These experiences can profoundly impact mental health, self-esteem, relationships, and physical well-being. Traditional treatment may not always address the gender-specific needs and cultural context that shape women’s recovery.

What We Treat

Our Women’s Trauma Program supports women experiencing:

PTSD, anxiety, depression, or dissociation related to trauma
Effects of domestic violence, sexual assault, or abuse

Relationship and trust difficulties
