Individual Therapy
Regular sessions focused on stability, growth, and relapse prevention.
Outpatient mental health care in San Diego, delivered by one team in one location, helps you stay stable and keep moving forward. As part of a coordinated continuum that includes PHP and IOP, our outpatient program lets you continue with the clinicians who already know you, so you do not have to retell your story or start over.
You do not have to navigate life after treatment alone. In our outpatient program (OP), you meet regularly with your established clinicians for therapy, medication management, and personalized planning. Because OP sits at the end of a coordinated continuum that moves from PHP to IOP to OP, this phase focuses on practicing skills in daily life while you stay connected to the same team.
Your outpatient care is delivered by the same clinical team that supported you through higher levels of care, ensuring seamless continuity and deep therapeutic relationships.
Our Mental Health OP program is ideal for individuals in the San Diego area who:

Regular sessions focused on stability, growth, and relapse prevention.

Medication management with monitoring and adjustments as your needs evolve.

Skills and process groups that reinforce coping and community.

Resource connection, care coordination, and advocacy.

Trauma-focused therapy available within our continuum.

Involving the people you trust to strengthen communication and support at home.

Practical support for sleep, movement, and stress resilience.
Choosing a level of care is about how much structure you need right now. Our team helps you find the right fit and adjusts it over time.
| Level of care | Relative intensity | Who it is generally for |
|---|---|---|
| PHP (Partial Hospitalization) | Most structured, full days | You need daily structure without inpatient care |
| IOP (Intensive Outpatient) | More than weekly therapy | You need more support than weekly sessions provide |
| OP (Outpatient) | Least time-intensive | You are stable and building independence |
You can step up or step down as your needs change, without starting over, because the same team guides the transition.

Many adults manage mental health and substance use concerns at the same time. In our integrated system, your outpatient therapist can coordinate with the rest of your care team when needed, so you receive cohesive care in one place instead of juggling separate providers.
Starting care is straightforward, and direct admission to outpatient is available. You do not need to have completed PHP or IOP first.
We work with most insurance plans and handle all verification and authorization—making your admission process smooth and stress-free.
One team. One location. Your complete recovery journey. With the same clinicians supporting you across PHP, IOP, and outpatient, you avoid restarts and stay focused on progress.

Outpatient care (OP) is regular therapy with access to psychiatry and supportive services while you live at home. You apply what you learn in daily life and meet consistently with your established clinicians.
You attend scheduled sessions and add psychiatry or groups as needed. Your plan is personalized and can scale up or down over time.
It is well suited to adults who are stable and want ongoing support, often after completing PHP or IOP, and to people who prefer evening or weekend scheduling.
IOP provides more structure and more frequent sessions. Outpatient is less time-intensive. You can move between them as your needs change, with the same team coordinating your care.
It depends on your goals and progress. Some people benefit from a few months, and others continue longer-term support as part of their routine.
